TRAVEL TO THE UK

As London is a huge travel hub, there are countless travel options to getting here. From a resident's vantage point, some of the better options are:

From Heathrow

Heathrow Express

Take the Heathrow Express directly to Paddington Station.
The venue is about a 20-minute walk from Paddington Station, which makes it a good location to book accommodation.

Heathrow Connect

The Heathrow Connect train also runs to Paddington Station, though the connections may not be as good. It's a trade-off between price and commute time.

London Underground

Take the Underground. The Piccadilly Line goes directly from Heathrow passenger terminals to Hyde Park Corner, which is relatively close to the venue, and a good location to book accommodation. It's the longest, but most cost-effective, way of getting into London.

There's an accessibility guide, if you want step-free access. Avoiding Stairs - Tube Guide

From London City Airport

Docklands Light Railway

Use the local transit system. The Dockland Light Railway goes directly from the airport to Bank, where you connect to the Underground. It's a single-ticket system, and gives you lots of flexibility.

From other airports

For transfers from Gatwick, Luton, or Stansted airports, you can take a bus. However, you could get caught in traffic, so the train is probably a better option. In each case, the transfer point is to the London Underground, where you have lots of connection option.
  • From Gatwick Airport, take the Gatwick Express to Victoria Station.
  • From Luton Airport, take the shuttle bus to the Luton Airport Parkway Station, where you transfer to a train to London St. Pancras Station.
  • From Stansted Airport, take the Stansted Express to Liverpool Street.

ACCOMMODATION
